Talk Description – The long way from Democratic Experimental Schools to Democratic Education

Participants will be invited to reflect in a creative way on the factors that may:

  • affect a teacher and make her/him apply democratic principles in everyday practice
  • facilitate a group of teachers to agree on common democratic pedagogical principles and create a democratic school
  • empower teachers to advocate for democratic schools
  • make decision makers as well as teachers who have not the same ideas as EUDEC be afraid of democratic pedagogy
  • inspire those who are not for democratic schools to be included in a democratic educational system
